Second annual Weaving Cultures Family Camp: August 14th-17th!
Regular registration deadline: June 15th
Join us at Camp Luther on the shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17, 2014 for the second annual Weaving Cultures Family Camp. As the camp programming schedule is finalized, those details will be updated on this website and on social media outlets.
The camp focuses on transracially adopted children of the African diaspora and their families! We welcome ALL families and all of their children, and are committed to providing a camp atmosphere of tolerance and inclusion.
We will enjoy adoption-related programming for kids and adults in the morning (we will also provide childcare for children 3 and under) and outdoor programming in afternoons, with plenty of free time for swimming, relaxing, sports, and other outdoor fun. We’ll gather together for provided meals and evening campfires.
“We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.” Maya Angelou
